After 7 weeks of the strictest lockdown in Europe, we were finally able to go outside for exercise and fresh air. I have never seen that many people out before 7am. This first walk was strange but felt so good. It screamed freedom!
It was blissful to watch the sun rising while listening to the sounds of the waves, along with people chatter and laughter.
Oh, I missed that walk!
I was so happy to finally be able to see our beautiful Cathedral again. La Seu is definitely my favourite spot. Seeing the flowers around the Cathedral made me realise how much we’ve missed while being locked inside. Spring has happened and we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it.
It was surreal to see the usually busy plazas and streets completely empty!
My mind was blown by seeing how much the trees have grown during the past weeks.

What a strange feeling, to be able to enjoy the beauty of our city again. Never ever taking that for granted, that’s for sure!
